Postcodes of Malaysia

Been a while since I’ve posted anything. This time, just a list of postcodes in Malaysia. I’ve been looking for a postcode listing that comes with city and states but found none, so I wrote a small program to get the info from Pos Malaysia’s Location Finder. Hope they didn’t notice the  traffic spike from my HTTP FORM POST for the past 2 days…LOL

The listing format is [postcode]<tab>[city]<tab>[state]. You can get the file from here.

Rounding up the list is #3 Mat Rempit, #4 road hoggers & #5 driving on emergency lane.

My personal opinion is this, if see the car behind you is right up your ass, it means ‘GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE WAY, YOU SLOW-ASS-ROAD-HOGGER’. You see, if you’re going faster than the car behind you, you can’t be tailgated. Who cares if you’re already doing 140km/h in a 110km/h highway, the dude behind you is probably doing 200 before you force him down to a turtle pace crawl of 140.

If you can’t go any faster, get back inside the middle lane PRONTO! After the convoy of cars that you backed up had cleared, then you can carefully proceed back to the fastlane, while frequently watching the rear view mirror for any incoming car faster than you. A quick flash of light ALWAYS indicate you’re too slow.

It’s no surprise that tailgating surpass road hogging in the Annoy-o-meter. There are more slow ass road hogger complaining about speed demon tailgater than it is the other way.

[Update 2009-09-17] That was old news, the above stats was for 2 weeks back. Not using the indicator lights had passed tailgating.
